Another entry that fell victim to time. I had high hopes for this piece, but in an effort to get one turned in on time and not fall two weeks behind, I had to scrap a lot of the aspirations I had for it. Maybe it'll be something I revisit down the road. I was hoping to throw in silhouettes of the jungle and NYC on either side of the bust integrating them into the fur. I also went black happy with my copic wide marker and left little-to-no room for blending via cross hatching, so I feel like I missed a few opportunities here in the name of completion. Ah well, it was fun!
Anyway, here he is...KONG!
